I just hate that they’re being hyped up and built up by the media creating resentment from every team they play. They are underdogs being treated like a top 5 team and rockstar privilege:manny:

I could see it was after beat Oregon and SC.

I’m looking at 2024 and beyond. That’s how i always looked at it so by the time Shedeur was in his last season and Hunter was a draft eligible, they could be legit contenders.
You have a point.

I kind of feel the same way...They are looked at as a juggernaut when in reality they are a team rebuilding from being absolutely HORRID a season ago.

But this is what Prime wanted and it's no other way for him so they gonna have to live and die with it. :yeshrug:

I'm rooting for them.

It's not just Prime, it's the whole operation.

When we went to TCU, it was a shyt show. No one was in charge, no one was leading the operation.

I might create a detailed thread on this later on. Colorado rolls out the red carpet for EVERYONE, including visiting players and staffs. They have people in place to oversee and take care of every little detail. There is little to no SLACK.

This draws everyone to the program. It's a management masterclass.

That is the real prime effect. I'm trying to tell folks, but most won't understand.

We would appreciate it if you elaborated.

Big Bad Ass Colorado Now Getting Expectations To Beat Everybody :mjlol:
As much as people are going to want Prime to go the NFL route, he's just more suited for college football. He's the star and biggest name in college football already and this is before he's even built a team up to with top 5-10 recruiting classes and mainstay in the rankings from winning.
I don’t get the purpose of going pro …I’m sure he can get similar money at a big college program and with modern national and social media he’s going to get all of the accolades that any NFL head coach gets if his successful. When I look at the pantheon of football coaching today does Super Bowl champion Mike McCartneys name ring off or get more respect than Nick Saban? I really haven’t heard a reason that makes sense when you know in the NFL you can’t have the same power and authority of a college coach which I think he likes

You don't understand, it's not your fault, I blame your father for raising a weak son.

There are people, no matter where you put them, they will not rest unless they are competing against the best competition and running things at the highest level. College football is amateur hour, same with college hoops. Deion is not an amateur level manager. You will never understand the difference.

Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
I don't think Prime is the type to bullshyt about what his aspirations are. He made it clear when at JSU he would entertain power 5 offers. One thing he has stood firm on his absolutely not wanting to coach in the NFL. Like passionately not wanting to do the shyt.

John Wooden, Dean Smith, Mike Krzyzewski, Bobby Knight

Yeah, when people hear those names they definitely think "amateur hour". If you named the top 10 basketball coaches ever, at any level, aren't college coaches getting at least 4-5 of the top ten spots including probably the top two?

You want to go money? Lane Kiffin at Tennessee makes nearly $9 million a year....and there are ten college coaches who make more than him. How many NFL coaches make more than that? Also ten. There are only four NFL coaches with ridiculous costly contracts, other than that, the top college coaches and the top NFL coaches get paid roughly the same.

Not to mention, once again, that life satisfaction isn't measured by the sort of online posturing and pocket counting that takes place here.
