Jon Jones might be the best out there right now. It won't happen, but the only fight that makes sense for him and Silva is against each other.

He didn't quite live up to the hype, but he arguably beat chuck/tito in their primes and beat lindland when he was #2 MW. IMO he'd still beat anyone at MW besides Anderson.

Jones is the GOAT, Vitor did as well as anybody but Jones still controlled the fight like always.

Silva's already said he's scared to fight HIM. :aicmon:

LOL Anderson is not scared, he knows that a fight with Jones is stacked pretty heavily against his favour. The fight is a high risk one for Anderson because not only does Jones have the stylistic advantage, he is bigger than Anderson and also, has youth on his side.

i dont know jones is still really sloppy on his feet, anderson is the most accurate fighter out there. i think he would have a decent chance if he kept it standing

If the fight remained standing, Anderson would win handily. In a stand-up battle, he has much more than a 'decent chance'.

I don't know about that. Clearly Spider is a better striker but so is Vitor. When you got them long azz legs coming at you that distance is a serious game changer. Spider would probably be the first to try to chop is legs into tar tar.

Overall GOAT? Are you serious? At this rate, Jones is on his way to GOAT status, but he still has a long road ahead of him. To call him the GOAT right now is laughable.

He's definitely the LHW GOAT though.

Don't compare Vitor's striking to Anderson's, they are worlds apart. Vitor relies heavily on his hand speed and power, his [striking] skill is mediocre at best.

Doesn't change my overall point :stopitslime:

You backed up your point by stating that Vitor is a great striker as well, which he is not (especially in comparison to Anderson).

Anderson has all the striking tools to beat Bones handily in a striking battle. He gauges distance amazingly well, has speed, precision, power, etc. His striking style, a mix of Muay Thai and boxing is second to none.
