Nah I disagree with this. Deion at the RIGHT SEC school could win a natty. If you put Deion at say Auburn, which is a sleeping giant with the right coach, he could probably monetize a coach’s show into a podcast on Spotify with a deep fanbase and well off boosters in an area of the South with an amazing recruiting base. I give @Chrishaune @Rigby. @Sauce Dab shyt but Auburn has a culture of winning, doing things a little different and constant little brother syndrome. Deion takes them to another level.

You gotta remember that coaches control a lot more than you think. At UGA Coach Mark Richt used to do those state wide luncheons you’re talking about, Kirby ended that almost as soon as he took the job. What he did instead of that was give boosters more access at spring games. Also every program doesn’t do weekly shows so Deion wouldn’t be obligated to do that and if he had to do it, have his son’s production company get license to do it.

There’s ways to move that Deion’s opening up that y’all gotta let play out. He’s not gonna keep doing things the way he did it in the past

Ain’t no way Deion getting a head coaching job in Alabama. :stopitslime:

You see the type of time Tommy Tuberville on in the Senate? And they support that clown with they whole chest.

Breh if Deion goes 8-4/7-5 at Colorado, a perennial underachieving program, you don’t think a Power 5 like Auburn who’s been underachieving for the last 7-10 seasons wouldn’t give him a call? Auburn isn’t Bama but they’re supposed to be in the SEC Championship conversation at least once every 3-4 years

Again Deion doesn’t work everywhere but Auburn is one of the programs in the SEC that would be cool with letting Prime run it how he wants. shyt he’d have Tim Cook back up the Brinks truck as soon as he’s ready

what would be the transfer situation for shedeur and hunter and the rest of the players that transferred once to go play at colorado? I know if a coach gets fired players can transfer without sitting out, but does the same hold true if the coach voluntarily leaves to go to another program?

Not really breh. He was getting hella attention at JSU as well.

nikka still tryin to argue when he clearly has no factual knowledge on what the fukk he’s talking about :mjlol: it’s like a plague when it comes to this conversation and that’s nationally as well. Same people who are “surprised” at how good Shedeur is… these are people that are comfortable being ignorant and loud. It’s bizarre.

If the boosters would give Sanders autonomy or at least reach a real compromise, he would’ve cooked here, no doubt. I don’t think Auburn’s political structure would’ve let him cook though. Would’ve been the PERFECT counter to Kirby and Nick, and I ain’t even talking about nothing on the field

As long as the fans ain’t busting folks doors down complaining about the potential candidate, the Auburn BoT does not care about their input. Now, would they hire Sanders? No not at this moment, but I think they’ll be at that level of desperation to try modernizing if their recent HC hire bombs.

It is a shame southern universities who say all they care about is winning would be that spiteful though. I’d prolly contend Sanders was a better coaching candidate than at least a quarter of the dudes the SEC currently got and at least half of the ACC

I believe the current rule is you can transfer once and play immediately (barring a waiver from the NCAA), but if you transfer twice you have to wait a year so Shedeur isn’t leaving again and neither is Travis. I think Prime is at CU at least 2 maybe 3 seasons, give him time to cook and build up for move to the right SEC school.

The boosters run Auburn though, if him and the AD have an understanding and the boosters are behind it, it’s Colorado on Steroids. As a Dawgs fan I don’t want Deion in the SEC though, he’s gonna have some of the top recruiting classes year after year

Y'all must have white folks fukked up
They would rather lose money, lose games than earn money, win games, with Deion have full autonomy

Auburn is still in Alabama breh. Just because it doesn’t have Alabama in the name of the school doesn’t change that fact.

They would need to be rock bottom for over a decade to even consider it ala Mississippi State. And even then I say it’s a no.

It’s like y’all forgot what these cacs are like down here in the Deep South. If Arkansas told Deion to turn the plane around with Jerry giving a push what you think would happen in Alabama?
