That safety should have been ejected for the hit on Hunter. It allowed CSU to continue to play dirty because there were not repercussions.

Also need to take a look at those momentum stopping injury timeouts if that's a thing.
if i'm not mistaken that same safety ended up leaving the game with an injury later in the game and didn't return. EDIT: naw it wasn't him, just watched the clip. #17 got hurt and had to leave, not #11

not surprised Hunter got hurt. great player but real light. coaches should've been sending big bodies at him in the run game and making him come up and hit because he really doesn't wanna. i watched him get banged around some last yr in the SWAC and wondered how he was gonna do at this level.

I'm curious if any former players or coaches are on here to explain the best way to stop that kind of slant offense. shyt looks tough, but I would imagine it'd have to be a 4-4 zone scheme.
gotta get up on him and shade him to the inside. bump him and make him run outside. i don't know why these defenses have gotten so soft in the secondary with everyone playing 8 to 10 yds off the ball. play inside and the receiver only has a couple of routes he can run - a go or a deep out or maybe a 5 yd stop. at the very least if they insist on throwing slants and crosses by making the receiver fight to get inside of you you're throwing the offense's timing off and hopefully giving your pass rush a chance to get home.

but you have to have the courage to play man underneath and not too many DC's are doing that nowadays, everyone is playing zone. Colorado St.'s DC made it pretty easy for Shedeur in that second half, especially that last 2 minute drive. It was like he was hoping Sheduer would fukk up and make a mistake when he hasn't shown he's mistake prone. Surprised Norvell didn't step in.

Death by a thousand cuts. They just sit in soft zone and get picked apart. shyt is frustrating to watch.

Deion's not as much of a problem with it. But gaht damn Shedeur/Shilo are just waaaaaayyyyy to cocky after beating a 3 win team.

I mean it was shyt said that Cam Newton never said at Auburn or hell even that 2015 year, lol.

Shilo said they'd never have another game this close :why:

Shilo is his father’s son. :mjlol:
