In business world there is no such thing as a high cost as long as someone is willing to pay that price. shyt ive done purchased $250 bottles of cologne in the past. Yes those companies are going to continue to charge that much as long as idiots like me will continue to purchase them.

There's an industry of reselling video games, that doesn't meant the majority of people are buying games only to resell them.

So I'll ask again, how many people are buying Jordans only to resell them?

In terms of reselling Jordans, I read an article not too long ago that stated 130,000 unique sellers sold at least one pair of sneakers on ebay in 2015.
The State of Jordan Resell (Spring 2016)
There were 134,000 people who sold at least one pair of sneakers on eBay in 2015 - most resellers aren't professionals; they're trying to help fund an expensive habit.

But in terms of people who buy and resell a substantial amount of Jordan sneakers, I think the number is much lower. The few who do resell a lot, really have the resell market cornered because they run computer scripts to auto buy these sneakers that make them much harder for the average guy to get legitimately. These re-sellers would buy most of the shoes up, and resell the shoes at an insane mark up, and because these shoes would be almost impossible to get at retailers, a lot of people turned to buy shoes at resell prices.

So to sum it up, There aren't a whole bunch of full time re-sellers who do exist, but the ones who do have a significant presence in the shoe game. Although the resell market has really died down recently(I'll spare you the details).

So basically it has reselling market just like every other industry :skip:

re-sellers have more of a presence in certain industries vs others, but sure :manny:

as for the topic, what better way to promote your clippers than to have Nas as the face of your company. Look at his hair fam, I'd pay $200 for some clippers if it could get my shyt looking like that :mjcry:

these r professional though right? not some sh!t u could pick up at a walmart or target. probably need to ask a barber for some kinda reference.
You see, a lot of nikkas don't know how to cut their own hair and need to not even consider buying these. Being that i cant stand dropping 20 dollars every three days just to stay crispy, i learned how to do it on my own. Being that the bevel brand is geared toward black men, i'm hoping they drop the holy grail for me. I've spent over a stack just trying to find the right electric trimmers so far, most have failed, none have gotten it all the way right

I got faith in the god son brehs, and if this turns out well, i cant wait for the next investment he's kicking

Youre the 3rd person to ask that question and yet nobody can tell me how many people are buying Jordan's only to resell them :francis:

Why would I know an exact number nikka? Sneaker reselling is billion dollar industry. Plenty of young nikkas have caked up through reselling sneakers.

This shyt aint new nikka, maybe you just not into that stuff like that but its no secret tons of muthfukkas buying lots of pairs of J's each release and reselling them. They might keep a pair for themselves and sell the rest, which is what I used to do when I was into sneakers a lot.

You act like its just a few people but it's a lot. I dont have an exact number and I dont see why you would think anyone would know an exact number of how many sneaker resellers there are out there. If you're into that kinda shyt you'd know what goes on.

the resell shyt has died down but in its prime it wasnt just a few guys.....there was lots of people buying sneakers to resell, period. Even if it was just to fund a habit, you might buy 5 pairs and resell 4 of them so the 1 you keep doesn't cost you shyt and you make a little profit. Maybe only a few guys are big time resellers but they aren't the only people buying pairs specifically to resell

Exactly.

Jordan has tons of affordable shoes, but the media & all these social militants think all his shoes are 300$. I hate people using MJ as a scapegoat for our bad spending habits.

even Jordan execs know no one cares about Team Jordans. They sell those for the exact reason you just stated.....for people to say "They have tons of affordable shoes". It's a cover up. They know they're bread and butter are the Air's and all the cheap shyt just serves the purpose of them not getting criticized for only having expensive gear. Aint no one buying team J's and nikkas who rock them get clowned.
