Yea i'll be copping these joints... I mean yea, I can go and get an Andi's or Wahl's...but I just want something simple like this...I can travel with and line up my beard when I travel. Plus I'm supporting a black business...so 200 is nothing....I've seen ninjaz waste money on wayyyyy more dumb shyt.

If they came like a pair of fast feed detachable blade clippers and offered a t blade in #0-#00000 a regular liner blade at #0-#00000 and guards.
I would be there cause then I would have no need for a fast feed and could phase out my andis liner setup and this would be a surefire cop.
It just does not come with shyt to make it price justified as a cop.

I've had an andis t outliner for about 5 years now. The time and difficulty regarding adjustment(zero gapping) of the blade has been exaggerated in this thread and I've only had to repurchase a blade 4 times in that time span and and never because of rust as the andis oil undermines that issue for me. In terms of the overheating most barbers I follow either use the Wahl detailer which doesn't overheat or they do the homemade remedy by sawing off the top part of the andis. If auto zero gapping and anti-residue blades are the main elements justifying the price tag then I don't personally think it is worth it. But the market is subjective and so if others feel that those two elements justify a $200 price tag I will be pleasantly surprised, but given the aforementioned workarounds barbers have constructed over the years I am highly skeptical.

I've always hated the zero gapping process personally and I've sawed the top off my Andis as well, the fact you have to hack your tool says something and you admit that you got to buy a new blade roughly each year, just like me, I don't always remember to oil my shyt so the rusting happens.

My whole point of my OG post is cats shouldn't shyt on this price point if they didn't even do research on why they are at that price point, sounds like some crab shyt to me. On some real shyt, this a black business man, I am a loyal Andis T-Outliner customer, but we not gonna build wealth in our community by just placing our dollars in other communities, we need to start supporting and stop shytting on our black businesses blindly.

I have yet to see an explanation as to why these trimmers are 3x the price of the leading trimmers on the market.

The research and development for the tech costs money. They trying to make that back.

You can grab a andis liner and if you know the technical skills to cut and get the look.
You don't have to use more than an andis 3mm standard outliner or t liner.

I don't get how this is even 11 pages. This is clearly being marketed to professional barbers, not regular everyday dudes off the street, hence the price and the quote from Nasir ("“I trust my barber to choose the best for my line-ups and he uses the Bevel Trimmer.”).

These trimmers seem to be price marketed for the professional performer barber.
who is on the road and charges for the drawing gate that artist is being made presentable for.
Plus, has equipment with the look to go with the price based on the performer's draw for services.
Which is a small small niche market and should be a small window limited edition run for this product.
So, this kinda does have a market but, I don't understand the current price.
As I learned about the andis silver rechargeable body unit.
backstage at a modeling show and a barber/salonist that was there.
was pulling it out and his clientele enjoyed the look of him cutting them with it instead of the regular andis.
So it was a convo piece for that arena and I feel that is where this fits in.
I just don't get the price point for a black based business being of the price gouge nature and it does not wholeheartedly supercede.
what an andis does as a long term purchase in this industry.
As andis just last longer than the other products and their teeth on their devices is what makes them desirable past durability.

With this product I don't see that being illustrated.
Just a bunch of bells and whistles and no real attempt at the pro king device which is the andis product and its durability.

The technical skills I can't explain without visual aids.
The blade shyt is a fukk'n YouTube tutorial too.
If I could have made a great FAQ via just print.
I would have been gave this shyt to y'all.
Yet this stuff falls into being a media outlet as far as production and when it gets into that realm.
I don't have the resources or know how.
when it comes to film and tv production to do any of that shyt.
Plus, I just don't have the desire to be a media outlet because it take way more capital than I am willing to get or invest back.
Plus, the market is already so far gone that it is kinda impossible from a grassroots arena to do.
Which is why places like thisis50 is a real media outlet and it is just thisis50.com.
Corporation ruined the internet and grassroots ability to do shyt from a personal interest stand point for the little guy.

If u talkin bout me. I've been looking into supporting Bevel WAY before Nas put his name on it. And there's literal proof out there that Beats are terrible headphones for the price point. Them shyts in reality should cost no more than 50 bucks for what they OFFER you. But let's say some rapper puts out some joints that's in the Beats By Dre price range that's Audio Technica quality. There would be no problem with shoving out the premium price. It's worth it. U got people in here shytting on these Bevel trimmers who never tried em. Yet they prolly own multiple pair of Beats By Dre.
