Man Grizz choked...

Zbo not able to get key buckets on LA
Gasol not demanding the ball
Green chucking up low % jumpers
Tony... being tony 4 point plays...
Calathes not running sets that
make sense

Coach playing Leuer...

Blazers showed heart CJ wasn't just making shots he was diving all over the floor and even won a jump ball over Gasol. Lillard actually made the tough shots we have been giving him and got to the rack.

Blazers gotta show they can win in the Grindhouse...

CJ McCollum is a good NBA player
I've been watching him play since Lehigh. I'm a fan and he is a chill breh off court as well from what I gather.

Anyway his nerves hurt him in the first 2 games but he is a good player and a solid starting level SG.

Only 23 years old also.

Man I've been saying that playing Meyer at the 5 with LMA is a necessary evil to stretch out Gasol / Zbo on D.

Meyers is a efficent at enough at the perimeter to be a 3 point threat, and he's long enough skilled enough now to contest shots and get rebounds
Meyers showed out tonight...bout time. He was due for a breakout.

man...I guess buying into the hipster hype and building our team around the awkward funny types isn't the best way to win basketball games.
Looking at you, R-Lo, Meyers Leonard, Joel Freeland, Chris Kaman. Aldrige's from Dallas, I don't think he wants to put up with this funny business anymore
Aldridge actually wanted Lopez on the team.

yeah i peeped it after game 1. Caveman on gasol isn't bad either. But Meyers pulls Gasol who has length and size, far enough away from the paint so that zbo become the main defensive rebounder on the weak side.

Low Key memphis has been using this same strategy on us the whole series as well. They'll have a 1 or 2 drive, then gasol slips back around the free throw line, then the 1 or 2 kicks it out for a wide open uncontested gasol shot.

Two can play that game, idk why it took two more losses to start doing this.

:whoa:

Yall should stick with Lillard/LA going 1 on 5 with no passes. There's no need to start running plays now...

You're not watching this bullshyt Aldridge is throwing up? Dude is 5/20 and you're criticizing Lillard? :dahell:
these haters show themselves every time

I don't think the hipster scene has anything to do with it.

Meyers has been a work in progress since 2012 that they weren't willing to give up on. And he's made incredible gains in the past 6 months.
RoLo is a serviceable big, who doesn't bytch about needing the ball. And is a great rim protector for the most part. He just sucks at playing with bigs who can shoot past 15 feet as well as post up.
Kaman is a good back up, who can post up and offer some rim protection
Freeland can have breakout games, but at times seems unaware, but that mainly comes from limited playing time / experience.

And LMA doesn't really care because hes a laid back, lowkey kind of dude.

Mccallum can actually score in the paint...I low key prefer him to Dame

I do, dame just wants the defender to go under the screen so he can shoot step back 3's.

I saw mccallum go to the rim and score several times this series.
:mindblown: Have you guys even been watching the games.
Gasol, Doofus, and Zbo have been :eat: all series with blocked shots in paint. Both thrillard and CJ have been denied several times while driving because Memphis interior D and ability to clog the paint is impeccable. The only reason for the shift last night, finally seeing players drive successfully was because Meyers was stretching out Gasol. Meyers is damn near 50% from 3, he's not the guy you want to leave unguarded.

Pulling Gasol away even slightly free's up a 1 or 2 to receive a kick out and drive to the paint with a bit more ease.
With the way Portland shot the ball today I am SHOCKED they won this shyt
Yep. I couldn't tell if memphis wanted to win or not :patrice:

Because all series long memphis made it a point to slow down the game and stop the blazers from paying an uptempo style of play, because won't be able to hang. Basically the blazers need to attack and score before memphis sets up their D

:lolbron:

Yall gotta fly over 2,000 miles just to end yall season... Shoulda made it light on yourselves.

:mjlol:

At least Baby Sabonis is getting some good experience, since he will be starting once LA leaves
:ehh:
On the bright side that leaves more shots for Dame, CJ, Afflalo, and Wes. If yall get a good rebounder to grab all them bricks you might have a nice Golden State-ish squad for the future.
:francis:
Yall put up a good fight, but the Grizz been thru playoff wars and this the last stand. This the last year of contending with this group of guys and we not going out in the 1st round... don't blame Memphis, blame the lack of open seeding.
