Well, the talent on the roster was different between now and the Attitude era. The Attitude era's strength was more promos and segments, which can work in a 2 hour format. This era's strength is in-ring wrestling, which makes it difficult with 5-10 minute matches every week. There was also a different brand in WCW showcasing an entirely different product in a 3 hour format, which is what they're trying to do with RAW. But RAW and Smackdown are not unique from each other. It's like watching the same show with different actors.

This is what I don't understand. They could make both shows dope while emphasizing different aspects of the product. RAW could focus on the spectacle with more promos and segments while SmackDown could focus on the workrate with more matches. They don't have to do that every week, but it gives each brand a certain identity and a plan to follow. Instead, they just want to make SmackDown whenever it outshines RAW.

It would be the most Vince McMahon thing in the world if they end up screwing this up. A once in a lifetime roster with endless possibilities and they still make booking decisions that turn people away.

Smackdown got AJ, Joe, Nak, Brother Nero, New Day, Bar, Sanity,Miz, DB, Cass, Orton, Almas, Shelton, Uso’s, Charlotte, Asuka, Trinity, BBros, Good Bros, and more...... that’s enough to hold down a single PPV.

No need to compete with Brock, Reigns, Cena, Rollins, Braun, Lashley, Roode, probably Dean when he returns, Broken Matt, Bray, KO, Sami, Corbin, Finn, Dolph, all day there 3MB guys, Ronda, Alexa, Nia, and all the others guys they got.

I mean at best you can or book 8 matches on a PPV if you want to give them good time.

And why risk leaving some key people off when you can just separate.

The separation looked smart at the time..... but now this shyt is pointless and gonna hurt them in a long run

With the new rosters this week, now is the perfect time to do full blown individual ppvs. There are too many stand out talents to just run 8 matches every ppv. Bryan will have a match..both Universal/WWE champions are getting matches...Roman will have his match...every single month. That's 4 matches right there. What about Joe, Sami/Owens, Miz, Seth, Jeff Hardy, both women champions? How the fukk is this gonna work logically?!
