here's part of it. dont ask me how i got it
Just a little background on me to give you guys a little insight on what goes on. A lot of you guys have this stereotypical image of the white jew being the man responsible for the poor state of hip hop, but these jews are accountable to a lot of foreign investors, people who under the table spend fortunes in Western businesses legally with the wealth from their home countries .My pops deals with this stuff and the investors are most of the times Arabs or Russians, sometimes Americans, but not as much because of reasons that would be too long to get into in here. Only a few rappers have projects large enough where they could get to meet these guys. If you remember Michael Jackson got one with a prince of Bahrain but his intention was to do what I had in mind, but with MJ and be based over there. That's why he later sued mike.
I once made a post on here a while back asking how I could help the industry get black people from the hood etc into the biz and start from bottom to top 100% free of the rec labels, got some useful advise but lost hope in the project because I noticed if I approached a brother and invited to help him out, he all of a sudden thinks I am trying to take advantage of him and starts making all kinds of dumb ass demands. And when I tried another approach, of being more humble and try asking for their opinions, and if they could help me out (when the reality is I don't need their help) they start thinking they are some superstars who are going to make it big and that they would be doing me a favor. The reality is these guys are still out there making mixtapes, that will never take off, and I only have one project I am interested in pursuing because the people who are involved are actually smart about it. Y'all prolly thinking what does this have to do with the homo ish? Well that was just one of MANY things that made me swear never to go through the conventional channels of music because I seen it all, I know how things work, and as soon as I admit that I know people in the industry the next thing I get is people harassing me but I can understand, they just want to make a living and see the lifestyle they see these rappers pretend to live. The reality is most of them don't and aside from a very few, those figures are exaggerated for most those rappers, the numbers you see of their net worth is what was SUPPOSED to have been paid to them, the hidden charges are never taken into account which can reduce some of those figures by up to 90% in some cases.
To the story, back in 2003 a turkish man based in London was interested in organizing a private party for his son who was going to turn 21. At that time I was in awe of all the rappers because I had this misconception that everybody respected them for them, I never really cared about the money because most of what they rapped about was about things that was normal for my family, we were blessed in that sense. Anyways my pops told me that a certain artist who was hot at that time was going to perform at this turkish guy's house, those of you who are familiar with the UK this kid was living in central london, with a couple of apartments just for 'partying' in mayfair!
Redman was in the UK for some other **** related to his label and doing a tv show at that time it didn't go through but they want to put meth on it as well. Anyways the this artist was flown to the the UK for the meeting to arrange the price/date etc (Btw the labels DO charge them for flying them and getting them an 'opportunity' when the reality is they were sought out by the party who approached the label to use that artist for a private event, that's how fukked up it is). I was struck by the artist (no homo) and his entourage were like a bunch of male fukkin groupies, most over protective niccas you will see in your life is the nobody's that the rappers role with and who usually get them in trouble. They go out of their way to show the rapper that they are 'down' in hope of getting compensated with some monetary award, they don't realize the rappers is not that much richer than them. Don't get me wrong, the rappers do make a much more money than the average american, but a lot of it ends up being spent on trying to maintain the image that was paid for when they were on the label tips. So even if they are on personal holidays, they end up paying for stuff and their whole entourage, which is expensive as fukk, renting out cars etc. Anyways.
The entourage was shoving people on the streets who wanted to greet the artist and were shouting at the execs at the label for not providing extra security for them when they were coming from heathrow airport. They were already 12 together, but they were provided with another 4 (charged the artist for them too) by the company, and then they basically met up with the Turk to organize the event etc.
So after they negotiated and sorted everything out at the office we all were going to go up to the turkish guy's place as he invited us for dinner and Red who happened to be in the building was told to come along too by one of the guy's dealing with client relations. When the nicca found out red was going to come as well he was heated, I was in the the CR's office cuz he was showing me some pictures of a party they once threw on the Turkish guy's yacht when like 2 min later the artist stormed in and locked the door. He started screaming "Why the fukk this ***** gonna be there for?!?! We tryna do business fukk he gon be doing over there? this ain't no fukkin shelter, why the fukk you bringing niccas over for free meals when we here tryna do buisness!?" etc. The way this nicca was talking you would thought he was Donald Trump of hip hop and was a master of negotiations, the CR guy was a skinny brit guy and was trying to calm him down and told him they would make red leave as soon as the dinner was over.
will continue *
