Luka is clearly the best player in this series he's pretty much unstoppable and get's what he wants but the Suns have the 2nd, 3rd,4th,5th best players after that

Got the sense Phoenix is going to go back heavy to Ayton for game 4.

That was the original game plan and I think they got away from that after seeing the CP3 and Booker barrage in game 2. Bridges had the most shots through the first half tonight if I recall correctly so it looks like Monty tried to get too fancy and tried something to catch the Mavs off-guard.

Maybe Monty was experimenting to see what works, but he knows what works already: Mavs have no answer for Ayton.

I’m pretty sure the next couple of games they’ll go back to pounding the front court - remember that’s one of Phoenix’s mismatch points for this series because they’re the bigger team. Ayton only got 18 shots the last two games combined, but 20 shots for game 1. Going to expect the latter more here on out.

Game 4 might be a must win for the Suns

Yeah, Ayton definitely needs more shots. He's able to seal, post up, and gain possession every time down the court.

Mavs were happy with the long range shots the Suns kept hoisting. CP3 turnovers basically got the Mavs the W with the points off them.

JKidd made a nice adjustment this game. Blitzed Booker or CP3 every single time a pick and roll was run. Played up on the shooters and forced PHX to use more clock. Lots of wasted motion and empty possessions were the result.

Wouldn’t call him terrible, he has improved but tonight was a very bad night on that end. More disappointed in their defense on other players.
His lobs are often too high. His passes always get stolen or picked off and nearly stolen. He did not impose his will when Luka was on the bench in foul trouble. Twice. When cp3 was out and clearly did not have it
