The Gawd

We are truly witnessing a legend brehs. My nikka said Bron gets bored with nikkas . When he's completely focused (see my avy), he drops 45 on nikkas on 19/26 shooting

The GOAT :ohmy::bow::to:

the GOAT? not even close

although a completely focused Lebron is one helluva player

Lebron has lots of room to improve, everytime i watch him i see him going 1/2 from the FT line, he's losing out on lots of points right there.. the all time best players were automatic from the FT line (or damn near, easily 85%+)

so yes he should go shoot 1000000 freethrows this summer

--

he needs to continue to be aggressive and not get complacent now that he got the monkey off his back

--

He really doesn't have moves/good footwork, he just has ridiculous athletic ability and bulldozes people foolish enough to stand in front of him on a drive to the basket, so he could work on footwork, having actual goto moves in the post as well

--

also his jumper is much better than in years past, but could still be improved , his mid range game is sporadic

I can't believe after the finals we watched not even a week ago - people are talking about "can lebron get better" and "what about a post game"

As if he didn't just abuse the post in the finals, and have an all-time season to his team's championship-winning benefit.

:wow:

Chicago, The 100's
Brons midrange will never be like mike or kobe's. He just doesn't have that touch or footwork like them. nikka looks like he shooting a medicine ball on his j's and ft's.

His go to move is still to bulldoze people and to me he is too passive sometimes the difference is the role players hit the shots . Do you really see his midrange getting any better Or his jumper getting much better ?? Idk it's kinda far in his career to see crazy improvements

1-keep improving on the post game

2-keep improving on moving without the ball in halfcourt

I think his FT% will improve next season

he didnt abuse the post in the finals. just cause they won. and i was glad to see the dude with his back 2 the basket. which made those idiots double team so he could kick it out to shooters who FINALLY hit.

how many times did you see him dropstep? twice the entire series if that? the guy doesnt have post moves at all. i have more post moves then lebron on the block and i'm 6'2. the guy is a giant point forward. but he could get better if he cared to. if he doesnt desire to get better. then he wont.

I saw him do a drop step, an up and under, a step through and even made a hook shot off the glass :yeshrug:

He's not going to have a "pretty" post game, his post game is looking more like a mini-Shaq's than it is MJ or Kobe.

He actually developed a bit of a floater to shoot over big guys.

We'll see where he goes.

I don't know where that ability to do all of that adjusting mid air came from.

honestly man it's up to him really; to me, lebron is like a tight end from the nfl with god given abilities playing in the NBA, the dude is just massive, and at his weight/height he definitely plays more like a PG/G than a forward

some of the improvements are just physical mechanics, getting in the gym and doing repetition so that when the fans are screaming you suck the FT is still automatic

I played HS and College ball and i can tell you when i saw areas of my game that needed work, i worked on them and it's just basic logic that they get better

someone else said his shots look kinda bad, i agree he really doesn't have much arch and his form is meh and his footwork isn't that great

I remember after Lebron got clowned against the mavs, even as a self proclaimed lebron hater, i was like that dude should just take it to the hole, stop being so passive, and he did that this year, and he has a title to show for it, if lebron played like he did this post seasons against the mavs he'd have 2 titles now

i think even the huge lebron fans can admit lebron has a very fragile psyche, he is not built for being mentally tough ( at least not before that game in boston), that was one of his biggest strikes, he would wilt/avoid the pressure, his desire to involve his teammates would invariably cause problems for the team because the best player who no one could stop would pass the ball to some scrub jump shooter when it was clutch time (time to be like Mike and Kobe)

so now that he has a title, will he thirst to be even better? will he play with a new sense of calm knowing he has a title and now he can relax and REALLY play? only time will tell, but part of it is getting in the gym and practing the parts of your game that are more mental and physical motor movement repetition vs just insane God given abilities that can only get you so far

Let's not act like MJ didn't evolve his game cuz he wanted to, he did it cuz he _HAD_ to, as he got older he couldnt' do the things he did in the mid / late 80s, so he evolved his game to match his age

Not saying lebron has to do that, but he damn sure has to work on other skillsets, the first two id be working on if i was him is midrange J and freethrows

sorry for the book ./lulz
