His go to move is still to bulldoze people and to me he is too passive sometimes the difference is the role players hit the shots . Do you really see his midrange getting any better Or his jumper getting much better ?? Idk it's kinda far in his career to see crazy improvements
honestly man it's up to him really; to me, lebron is like a tight end from the nfl with god given abilities playing in the NBA, the dude is just massive, and at his weight/height he definitely plays more like a PG/G than a forward
some of the improvements are just physical mechanics, getting in the gym and doing repetition so that when the fans are screaming you suck the FT is still automatic
I played HS and College ball and i can tell you when i saw areas of my game that needed work, i worked on them and it's just basic logic that they get better
someone else said his shots look kinda bad, i agree he really doesn't have much arch and his form is meh and his footwork isn't that great
I remember after Lebron got clowned against the mavs, even as a self proclaimed lebron hater, i was like that dude should just take it to the hole, stop being so passive, and he did that this year, and he has a title to show for it, if lebron played like he did this post seasons against the mavs he'd have 2 titles now
i think even the huge lebron fans can admit lebron has a very fragile psyche, he is not built for being mentally tough ( at least not before that game in boston), that was one of his biggest strikes, he would wilt/avoid the pressure, his desire to involve his teammates would invariably cause problems for the team because the best player who no one could stop would pass the ball to some scrub jump shooter when it was clutch time (time to be like Mike and Kobe)
so now that he has a title, will he thirst to be even better? will he play with a new sense of calm knowing he has a title and now he can relax and REALLY play? only time will tell, but part of it is getting in the gym and practing the parts of your game that are more mental and physical motor movement repetition vs just insane God given abilities that can only get you so far
Let's not act like MJ didn't evolve his game cuz he wanted to, he did it cuz he _HAD_ to, as he got older he couldnt' do the things he did in the mid / late 80s, so he evolved his game to match his age
Not saying lebron has to do that, but he damn sure has to work on other skillsets, the first two id be working on if i was him is midrange J and freethrows
sorry for the book ./lulz
