Kinda worried about her chances. Idk if it's just me but it does not seem like there is the same energy during Biden's campaign even if he was not active.
On the other hand there seem to be less enthusiasm for trump amongst alot of repubs except the die hards.

If there is a lack of enthusiasm among Republicans for him on the surface, imagine how many of them are sick of him behind closed doors. Maga is the Cult of Retribution. So you aren't going to have a ton of them lining up to give their views if it means they could be ostracized or worse. Everybody isn't built to handle that kind of pressure. So they'll just stay quiet and vote against him or stay home in a few days.

A good chunk of them did it in 2020 and even more will do it this time.

Outside of the low self esteem I need a hero to make me feel like a man broke and broken backwoods maga fanatic, there has been an evergrowing number of Republicans ready to see him gone. They haven't gotten a ton of press or attention until the last few months. So they seem 'new' to people. But the ones who are for him big time get the most attention.


Take the last couple of months. More and more Republicans have been speaking out against a Trump second term. They recently asked Pence about it and boy did he give a word salad to top them all. But he basically said Republicans he spoke to across the country are calling for new leadership for the party. That didn't get major press anywhere. But it's an indicator that even more of them are going to vote against him this time than last time.

It's about winning. We can worry about his voters later as that's not a variable we can change on election day. We need baby steps. It's why the Harris' campaign emphasizes all the work we have to do. She isn't just talking about legislation. We as a country have many hurdles to face but it all starts with keeping this dude from a second term. Everything grows from there. Biden didn't win in 2020 with only the Democrat vote.
