Do I need to give this another try? I watched the first two episodes of season 1 and it did not grab me. Convince me, brehs
As far as the question in the thread title, I doubt it but stranger things have happened. Let's put it like this, I was
the first few eps of season 1, and the season 2 finale "Mizumono" was my #1 episode of 2014. The quality ramps up a lot between the first and second halves of the first season, and the 2nd season is even better. That finale is seriously a GOAT level episode, regardless of how you feel about the rest of the series.I heard hannibal does some twisted shyt on this show. A little TOO twisted

This just shows me that network Tv can get away with a lot more then they do when they get that late night spot. Well Bryan fuller has made a lot of changes to established Hannibal cannon and So a lot of the stuff with will is uncharted

no... it's too high brow and graphicseason 2 was pure piff
from an idiot standpoint... the shows that have the deep dialogue, detailed story, and things you have to see in the acting, NEVER get the ratings / awards / big fan base
even tho you put the wire up there... shyt was almost cancelled every single season cause nobody was watching it.
my mom loves hannibal the story... told her to get in on it... we see eye to eye on 99% of movies/shows and our tastes are impeccible... she couldn't get through it... too much gore.. and this was season 1... it only gets worse
so will it be a better show technically? i'd say it's already in line to beat every single one you named... put up the first TWO seasons only and lets talk
but if you think it's gonna worm it's way into cult status and make billions... not gonna happen..

This. I think the show is brilliant but my mom can't stomach the violence. Also you gotta really pay attention, so many little details that end up being important if you miss it.

Pretty much my thoughts. Season 2 finale was incredible, on an epic level, and I say watching the series just to get to that point is absolutely recommended. First half of season 1 was hit or miss, but the show took off in the second half of Season 2 and hasn't looked back.
