depends on the skin tone.
same way a chick shouldn't be trying to rock clown colors if her skin tone makes the shyt stand out.
Either pick colors that accentuate whatever colors you're wearing, compliments your skintone/hair color/highlights or do your best to make it look like you don't have any on.

I broke up with a girl for suggesting that she would wear green lipstick. And I'd do it againdark lipstick >>>>>>> Purple, white, blue, multicolor lipstick.
When applied by someone who knows what they're doing it can be great. I've seen amateur mua's do too much and try to be different.
And a lot of girls who do their own makeup go through a lot of trial and error before they know what works for them. Shades of blue and purple can go horribly wrong. Yellow can be done right as well but you're more than likely to fukk it up.
