Can 'Dark Knight Rises' Top 'Avengers' Opening?

I can't wait to see Rises but facts are facts and number don't lie
The Avengers - $207,438,708 in 4,349 theaters
The Dark Knight Rises - $160,887,295 in 4,404 theaters
people in here are acting as if the shooting in COLO never happened and sh1t. analysts even stating it sparked a 30-35% drop off, and in spite all of that it's still became the highest grossing 2D pic to ever debut!
TDKR beaten easily avenger in its midnight debut... had the shooting NOT taken place, who knows where it could of been. but that incident made all of it completely obsolete.
You can't discount the impact the CO shooting had on the box office for TDKR.

Shouldn't matter too much bout it not beating avengers 3 day opening what matters is total sales which i think dark knight rises will beat avengers
also cuz of the shootings i expect the 2nd week total to drop off even lesser. people probably wanted to wait a week to go see it after the shooting so the drop off should be even less than it could of been
i predict at least another 100 mil for the 2nd week bout 125 mil.
avengers sold alot no doubt but people fail to realize it didn't have that lasting appeal to even beat titanic and avatar though to keep people coming

so.... they still got that whole "imax experience" for dark knight. special cameras made to film the movie and everything. and imax movies cost more than 3d movies
