I remember a lot about those years, but that's because I was younger and those were my first few years watching wrestling.
All that shyt people hated back then, I loved. And still do. I said it before, but I feel like in those years, some of the stuff they were doing was like throwing crap at the wall and seeing what sticks. And while some of it didn't age well, or was ever good in the first place (the early years of NXT, a lot of Hornswoggle shyt), it still holds a special place in my heart.
Also, back then, it feels like the product was still being done competently and they actually cared about things like long-term storylines and how the wrestlers came off. Things still had some kind of seriousness, like if someone was holding the WWE Championship, they would protect it with their life. Not anymore.
