Can anyone not stand American action movie fight scenes anymore?

American fight scenes when done right look a lot more harsh and brutal than other’s like the recent Mission Impossible for example. I’m tired of shaky cam fights.

Was just talking about this in the Iron Fist season 2 thread. Wasn't as bad as this but too many cuts at the point of impact, makes the fight really difficult to follow and it's easy to tune out or get bored because you can't really see anything particularly cool.

i grew up watching the kung fu homies flying around with the wires and shyt. so Into the Badlands is my default go to fight scene fukkery shyt right now.
but as far as recent fight scene shyt, that last battle in the Raid 2 was LEGENDARY!
aint nothin right now touching that shyt!

I'm way more impressed by gritty brutal fight scenes than pretty and stylized choreography.
