what bait thread? i dont stan tech like u guys do. i can download a 10mb app right now with no probs but i cant send out a text? why? im asking for help here cause this shyt doesnt make sense. I already have a ton of apps on the sd but i dont get why 17 mb isnt enough to send a txt out? how much mem should i have. I like how u guys dont have an answer

nah some other shyt i got like a year ago. I just want to text tho and maybe check out the giants app
i used the dolphin browser and set cache to sd, so i dont thinnk the cache should be a prob. i just dont get why i can downloads apps but cant send a text out. Thats all i want to know and looks like the droid experts here cant help

Go clear the cache for the messaging app and see if that helps...
early droids had a wierd storage system..they were characterized as app storage/phone storage both only withing the memory of the phone..
so just go to a couple of ur big mb apps and delete data.. u dont even have to uninstall the app.

i dont know how old it is (might be 2.2 or some shyt but got the phone sept 2011). ive been deleting the data man. Went through all of the shyt and kept clearing cache... just deleted like 10 mb of apps, so ill see how long its working...
i only had this prob once like in june, and it went away by deleting 1 app. I still had the same amount of apps as yesterday and a ton of texts but everything was working fine, then yesterday that shyt started again. Thats why i said fukk droid

because texting by default uses internal storage. and you prolly d/l apps to your sd.
people already told you the solution=go to apps see which ones use most data and press clear data...its not rocket science

The OG droid is still useable, but most apps nowadays take up enough space to cripple your memory. most phones nowadays come with 8GB-16GB internal memory so it's pretty much impossible to get that error message.

because when your phone thinks its full it wont let you add more shyt to store, which is what texts are-theyre small but still take up storage.
