Yep. Cartoons are really effective for kids. Also allows you to think outside the box without allowing it to be taken over by real live actors and their personal agendas.

There's a current comic book out featuring the children of famous African kings and queens. There's a thread on it too.

Kinda thinking about making my own but my art skills aint too nice

Yeah if it can be used to promote propaganda then it should be able to do the reverse and tell the rich history our ancestors

You just have to package it well. Look at how Japanese animation has a hold on the culture. If you do it well, it will catch on, and provoke people to look up the history.
