You stay sayin stupid shyt when it comes to sports..

:pachaha:

:aicmon: Why should the team put their franchise player in the position to be re-injured with no chance at making a run for the playoffs fakkit. 15-20 carrys a game is enough for him right now.

He's already doing things we've never seen before.

If he gets 2000 off of an ACL, that to me soldifies his place in history as a legendary once in a generation player.

The only RBs in his class are O.J. Simpson, Jim Brown and Barry Sanders.

What do you mean in his class? AP is still a student, he hasn't graduated to teacher/true master status yet. All the guys you mentioned did it for an entire career. He definitely isn't in the same dojo as Barry (came back from knee injury as well I might add, although not as serious)

Emmitt gets so disrespected. Cowboys oline is the biggest myth in sports history.

:rudy:

face it man, Emmitt was not anywhere near the talent level of an AP, Barry, Payton, or Brown.

You niqqas bout to make me find some Barry footage and post it. I've seen AP type Backs (Bo Jackson) etc.

To this day I've NEVER seen anyone like Barry...I don't think I'll see it again either...that's how special Sanders was.

Only a matter of time before you nikkas ruined the thread.

He is in his 6th season entering his prime.

Im a Sooner fan to and I am so glad he came to OU ... I shiver when I think of how it would have been if he went to Texas. Just think of Vince Young and Adrian Peterson together.

No hyperbole and I stated why I think that right under that sentence. He's doing this after coming back EARLY from an ACL and MCL surgery.

You can't compare the medical treatment AD is getting to what Jim Brown got, they probably used a hack saw and 'Tussin to fix ACL tears in Jim Brown's time.

I hope he gets it but not at the sake of overriding him and risking another injury like last season. He definitely should get Comeback Player of the Year with Peyton. Cuz we know a running back probably won't get MVP or OPOY.

His injury wasn't from being overused though... His injury was a freak accident where the defender dove at his legs a few yards past the line of scrimmage.... Could have happened if he had one rush or 30 rushes... It wasn't like D-Rose where he had injuries, wear and tear and the knee finally just gave out...

I do think they need other players to step up though to take some pressure off of him... Hopefully Percy comes back in a couple weeks...
