Look i'm aware of all this. i see how hip hop & his peers views nas... even seen trap artists hype him for some cool points... i see how everyone talks about illmatic this and illmatic that but i just don't see the impact maybe because i didn't grow up in the era or i'm just blind.... where are young nas's of today if he's so great? like how kanye birthed drake and rap/r&b singing wave etc.... like take desiigner and put him in a song like "where the hood at" by DMX and you honestly couldn't tell the difference

1.That's just how you feel. A fact is that i'm not late at all. I was bumping these albums in real time,in the whip,in the hood,at my job etc. I dont know how old you are,but im 'n my late 30's . You do the math. I vividly remember everything that was going on.

2.IDAHIH didnt save Def Jam. The Warren G G-funk era did. But they love to downplay them west coast g's.

True but notice most em of those nikkas switched up there styles after realizing you aren't going to do much in hip hop following the nas platform; ex.. kendrick's lastest album; and again no slant against nas
