There was a nvideo posted of an Bobcat hunting and killing a DEER :damn:

So a Bobcat should be able to hold its own against a pitbull.

Bobcats no match for #Gatorset though

A lake near Tampa FL
A bit off topic, but the pythons in Florida have almost wiped the bobcat population out.
That's what they get since #Catset kills BILLONS of Birds each year :pacspit:

My reptile nikkaz have made a nice ally :ahh:

Rowdy (she’s mean as hell) treed a cat in the yard this morning. I went out and took pictures then started walking back to house to grab a leash and the cat actually jumped out! Rowdy caught and crushed him.

You hate to see it. Looks like a kitten though.

Thing is, a bobcat would just be fighting to get away. It doesn't see the dog as food so it doesn't want to waste the energy. That's how wild animals think.

The dog on the other hand has energy to waste. It gets meals from massa. It can fight just to fight and kill.

Keep in mind that if two bobcats meet they're not fighting to the death. They'll tangle for a few seconds and go their separate ways.

So that's the advantage a dog will always have in a fight. They're a domesticated breed so the natural instinct to not waste energy is absent. And the bobcat isn't big enough to kill the dog in a few seconds as some of the other bigger cats.
