Nah breh, he’s just a consultant to make sure the NFL is no longer alienating the young/urban markets. They would never let one man have that much authority over a billion dollar business. Keep in mind this is in the forever looming shadows of Janet Jackson’s fiasco. It’s a shortlist that goes to the city and the city decides. That nikka just love making himself seem bigger than he is like that alone isnt already impressive.
Yep, after finding out how this process is done, it makes the entire conversation look worse.

If Drake had been selected would Lil Wayne’s camp have whined? No. So why act like this after the most obvious choice was made? Lil Wayne is not someone most people care to see performing at the Super Bowl in 2025.

:dead: Mans so fried, you could throw rice on him and call him General Tsos. Straight up cooked in the brains. Say no to drugs kids.

If I’m being honest I’d rather have juvie do a cameo rather than lil Wayne :manny:

I mean dude rocked the NPR with Mannie, but sadly that's not going to transition well with the Super Bowl in itself :francis: . Lets keep it a bean, Juvie is so 99 and 2000s. I get it "Rolling Stones", "Prince", and legacy acts like Usher. But outside of Ha and Back Dat Azz Up, what song Juvie did that will transitioned to the majority of white folks attending?

  • Set it Off was a hit, but not on a global level
  • Slow Motion was a hit, but not on a global level
  • Bouce for the juvenile is regional AF
  • U Understand kinda was mid compared to the success of Ha and Back Dat Azz Up.
Also the whole Kenny bringing out NO acts would be weird as all hell, given he's from the west and have no understanding of how the NO gets down. So Wayne was the choice, but sadly Wayne is cooked and the Wayne we knew died in 2010 :mjcry:

If you going do hip hop if feel like it should be legacy acts that perform. I'll rather see Jayz himself do it.

I fukks with Wayne but who really wants to hear his winey ass voice perform, shyt would sound like garbage thru the TV.

Kendrick not a good choice either. He riding the Not Like Us wave but that shyt is getting played out and will damn sure be played out in feb 2025. He got some hits but not really global hits. His catalog doesn't compare to Dre and company, Rihanna, usher, the weekend, Bruno mars etc.
