Damn Maino said his tension with Jim came from him mentioning Cam in a song.

Not a good look for Cam to be clowning Jim when he was pressing Maino on his behalf. Not sure if Maino is cleaning it up for Jim

I came in here to talk about stuff like this but the last 10 or so pages have been flooded with Urkels & hermits talking nonsense.

@Still Benefited is cool. He trolling his ass off tho.

They were pretty big though. This goes back to debate about cultural impact vs sales. It wasn't just the music. It was the fashion, unfortunately, the gang shyt, the lifestyle, etc...obviously they weren't as big as G-Unit on a mainstream level, not even close.

But nikkas was not dressing like Bank and Yayo. nikkas wasn't making music like them. Nobody wanted to be them nikkas. nikkas wanted to be 50 and 50 only. Conversely, nikkas was heavily influenced by all of the big 3 of Dip Set.

Damn near all the popular drill artists in Chicago from Fredo Santana (RIP said he calls himself Santana because of Juelz) to G Herbo to Lil Durk said they were all heavily influenced by Dip Set. The biggest rapper in the world at one point, Lil Wayne, was damn near the biggest Dipset stan in the world. Look at how Drake treats Dip Set.

Their influence culturally far outweighs their record sales.

These idiots don't understand culture. They only know numbers

He didn't really diss Cam either, unless he's referring to another song besides Rumors. Only person in Dipset in that song you can say he kinda dissed was Freeky Zeeky, but not even, more just saying things he heard.

"Buck said Cam'ron fukked around and got robbed in Cali
But I heard it wasn't true, I ain't gonna spread that on dude
But the news said Freekey Zeekey snitched on you"
Im sorry thats disrespectful

Why mention my name in your raps in that tone?

Fair enough. I took it like Cam took it that he mentioned names, but not really disses.

Considering how he went at the Game and others in the song, that felt light in comparison. But true, any mention, especially when it's saying you heard shyt happened to me or you heard I snitched, can be seen as a diss

All this does is validate that most men have low emotional intelligence. The shyt yall nikkas view as "disrespect" 🤣 🤣 to each their own, though!

Meanwhile nobody is ever at the same place at the same time. Typically hiding behind nikkax. Never gets to the point where it’s time to get your head kicked in. :mjlol:

This the type of shyt I been tryna tell nikkas for years. Anyone who says otherwise wasn’t outside especially on the East Coast.

These nikkas soft, and most grown men are soft. There is a time and place to check something worth checking. If you said something and we not even in each others' presence, man look 😂 it's wild to me how many grown men think this is a display of toughness 😂

Max b is t/wasn't local.

His whole wave, he's very much a huge influence over music itself. Randomly just saw a video on MTV jams, and it's got Max's influence all over it, even if they don't realize it.

Dipset was a movement.

The sales don't matter...they do, but why should I care about how many tickets wwe raw sells? It doesn't have ANY effect on my day to day life.

People don't appreciate the art, ticket and record sales don't matter to me as an enthusiast of art.

The whole cam and him beef doesn't really matter at all to me .

I can't believe I read the entire thread, and all of the crazy and stupid shyt I've read.

If I'm supposed to be embarrassed to be a wrestling fan, I hate being a "rap" fan.
