And yeah y'all need stats of some sort if you gonna make astronomical claims about this nikka like y'all do:gucci:

I tried to be humble and give y'all "cult following" that wasn't enough:mjlol:

God damn, I never cared a 1/10th about TO and mcnabb from an emotional standpoint, and I sure as hell loved the eagles much more then I think wallo loved dipset from beginning to end, being in the pen the whole time.

This just screams insincerity

The metrics don't back up that the Dips was "popping" in every region of the nation, the streets, plus had the internet on smash.

If they were on it like that, they would've sold more records. Y'all forgetting alot of people saw them as a joke with the pink, and the goonie goo goo bars etc. it was low-key a children's movement. Nothing wrong with that, but let's keep it in proper perspective.

Clown take. Talkin bout some sales, you never had a datpiff account. You never used limweire or mega upload.

Dipset is a cultural Rorschach test. If you didn’t fw with them or at least acknowledge what the movement was, you an outsider. You was not outside, your city wasn’t poppin, you and your nggas was not lit, you were a dweeb :unimpressed:

E40 sold more records that dipset though

Literally more than all of them combined, as individuals and as a group, just by himself. As an independent artist.

But a lot of the same dudes demanding respect for Jim Jones will tell you Earl is garbage and "the streets" wasn't fukking with him, just because they neighborhood or town wasn't.

The Dipset movement was full of corny nikkas and teenage white boys online. So the idea that would authenticate me is nonsense first of all:mjlol:

Secondly I acknowledged their movement,I gave yall "cult following" but y'all got greedy. Also I said I fukked with them,so I guess I passed your little certification.

But here's a test for y'all. Name me a nikka or group of nikkas who

A)Had the streets of EVERYWHERE on lock.
B) Had multiple hit records
C) Who also had the internet on lock

Who didn't have the record sales that match these claims. You can't because it DOESN'T happen. Ain't no way they checked all these boxes on this list to the degree yall claim. But didn't have the stats that say so. Because every nikka in the history of rap who did check all this boxes DID:mjlol:

Cam was from the same place as Fabolous. Doing the same thing as Fabolous with mainstream hits. PLUS according to y'all the Dips had the streets nationwide sewed up with "the movement". PLUS they had the internet and online movement. PLUS had the Rocafella chain stimulus. Yet Cam and the Dips was selling less than Fabolous. These nikkas wasn't who they cult following wants them to be:wow:

More shyt that's overstated. Who was dressing like them nikkas? What years was this?

I did see people "dressing like them". But I also saw people dress like young Dro,as well as witnessed everybody rocking the ridiculous nightgown white tees,as well as cop every color air force 1s. Do we think all of those people who adopted that fashion were Young Dro fans?fans of The Franchize Boys or Nelly:mjlol:(yes I was wearing it all too lol)

No they were not. So seeing people wearing pink doesn't mean they were Dipset fans. It means Cam made it acceptable to wear pink. Other people copied and other people copied them. Plus more nikkas dressed like Jim Jones than Cam and for longer. But in this very thread y'all downplay Jim's popularity. Were all those nikkas wearing wallet chains and bedazzled shirts not Jim Jones stans lol?

I liked Dipset, just have to put them in proper perspective. I see Dipset stans trying to do the same thing they used to do back in the peak years where they elevate Cam as if he was a pier with A listers. He was more like C-tier,-B minus tier at best. His comp would be more Young Dro than Young Jeezy.
