You're right, his wordplay was crazy. But purple haze is when cam's ear for beats started faltering. Since that album's release he's been on some funny shyt, production wise. The beats and lyrics on SDE are so dope.

I checked the album out on the strength of "Down & Out". I was not disappointed. That album has bangers for days. It was one of the best albums of '04 and pretty much ended that year on a high note (no pun).
