a funny story behind Hey Ma.
Zeke was OT getting money (word to Diplomats Vol.1) so when Cam had the idea for the hook he asked Kay Slay to sing it.
Slay attempted got embarrassed and scrapped it. Zeke eventually did it but....
Cam having Kay Slay up at BaseLine was the first weird moment between Cam and Jay since he joined the Roc.
Slay and Jay don't like each other...Cam has him up in BaseLine doing Diplomats Vol.1 Jay apparently comes in to say what up and check who was in the studio blah blah blah...Cam had stepped out and Hov allegedly said to Kay Slay, in Slay's own words says something to the effect of "if it wasn't here or if it wasn't who you were with i would/should slap you" or some shyt.
he brought it up on this podcast but its not there anymore.
