Nobody else find it weird/ugly how prevalent this gambling shyt is? Belichick might be an NFL coach next season. There are multiple NFL players with podcasts that have gambling apps as sponsors. How is this legal? I'm fine with sports betting, I have betted on sports before (including today). I just think they've gone overboard with this shyt to the point of societal harm. It's impossible to watch or listen to anything sports related and not get hit with a gambling ad or betting line discussion.
'The industry has been gamified': how kids are being groomed to gamble
Will Prochaska has no interest in softening his words. “Children are being groomed by the gambling industry,” he says.

"A study by The Big Step, a British charity that is aiming to take gambling out of football and has been endorsed by League of Ireland clubs Drogheda United and Sligo Rovers, shows that in the course of watching one Premier League match on television, the viewer is exposed to gambling brand names 700 times. Typically, this includes the electronic advertising hoarding around the perimeter of the pitch, and shirt sponsors."
"Several high-profile Irish sports people have opened up about overcoming gambling addictions. A common thread is the early age they started to get into difficulties. Davy Glennon, who won an All-Ireland hurling medal with Galway in 2017, started gambling his school lunch money at 16. His need to gamble soon spiralled and at one point he owed €200,000. His mother had to remortgage the family home in order to help him pay his debts."
All this shyt will backfire eventually.
