Not Bad. Cam got some jabs in for sure. Love hearing the Heatmakerz again. But it's not a home run, more like a single to left field. Maybe because Ma$e doing a diss record is just so unexpected it shocked people where as people are use to Cam dissing. Also a lot of Ma$e dirty laundry has already been put out there. Cam really didn't bring anything new. Fake Preacher, He's gay etc have been said before. As for the mixing, yeah it doesn't sound perfect but it's a diss record, not a single. We use to listen to disses on Clue tapes. I remember first hearing "STILLmatic" on a mixtape and it sounded very raw and unmixed but those lyrics still cut through. I blame this "Instant Gratification" Generation more than anything. Back in the day there was no "Time Limit" on a diss record. Cam may have rushed it so the production quality isn't as sharp as it could of been. Sure technology is much better today but the mixing isn't the end all be all for me. It is and will always be the bars. I liked "Orcale" better right now between the two but Cam still went in on this.

People panic when attacked. They see the crowd hype shyt up, even if it's weak, and feel compelled to Do Something Now. Especially now with how fast everything operates. So the second person is at a unique disadvantage...but it can be overcome.

Nas didn't jump out the window to respond to Hov. He took his time and knocked it out the park. In this case Cam responded too quickly and rushed out a diss that wasn't even ready. On the flip side you got Meek, who took his time and released a terrible diss.
