I know you guys are new to this streaming shyt, but when physical sales were a thing, this is what producers used to do to capitalize off their name. Having one beat on several platinum albums, they would take part in sales for the entire album. Scott Storch continued to make millions off that business model in the early to mid 2000s. I personally think it's bullshyt, but it's a selling point like the term "grammy nominated".

When Kanye won for "Good life", Quincy Jones and James Ingram got a grammy too since they wrote "pyt". It's a slippery slope and as an artists, you can twist words and make things work for you.
