CAM REDDISH OR RJ BARRETT? WHO IS BETTER? I NEED TO KNOW!

Crazy thing is when Knicks had the 3rd pick I suggested they trade down and draft Cam and Rui (or Cam and Herro) and got nothing but hate in the knicks thread

I tried to imagine if the Knicks had took Herro and Cam instead of RJ



or Cam and Rui instead of RJ

I'll say for now RJ ..but if n when Kam gets it and if maybe a "vet" takes under his wing .. ..it wont even be comparable Cams ceiling is higher

RJ has worked harrd and I hope will continue to work n work harder

but from the eye test itt probably komes easier for Cam

Cam Reddish is more talented but R.J. is better right now. When Cam is on, it's a no brainer. His defense is better. He's a better shooter when healthy. Both players are young. They need to keep improving

breeh relax .. I said RJ better at the moment and could be for the foreseeable future ..I just said Cam if and when he puts it altogether has probably a higher ceiling

As far as shooting, I'm not getting gassed off Cam shooting like shyt since he got drafted then catching fire for 60 minutes this past week. Not when RJ shot 40% from distance over a full season.

RJ is better now, but if this is who Cam is moving forward he's going to make several other teams regret passing on him. Also not sure why OP is obsessed with comparing RJ and Cam when several other players got picked between them.

Naturally the two are compared because they both played at Duke and were shooting guards in the same draft class

Who cares about metrics. They aren't in the same role. We see R.J. for Canada and the Knicks. He's the same player. Cam has a lot more talent. One is like baby PG13 and the other is like a young Danny Granger.

Meaning you can say Barrett is better and I would agree like Granger in his 2nd year was clearly better than PG13 in his 2nd year but PG13 had a lot more talent and was a much better player in his prime.
