Panthers fans still legit think he's good and want him back. Never seen such clinginess in my life
Panthers fans think our biggest problem is Matt Rhule. The team was on the decline way before Cam Newton came back.
It's cool for folks to get their jokes off because he's a polarizing figure, but he's not even close to the top issues on this panthers team.

I don't think he's back next year and if he is he's just a stop gap.
Giving up a 2 and 4 plus picking up the option on Darnold really limits the teams options at QB going into next season.
Ideally you'd be able to get a QB and OL talent this draft but we don't have the pics.
Management really put the team in a shyt position going into next year thinking we were in win now mode after starting 3-0.
The other option at the moment is Sam Darnold who is fully guaranteed next season and failed to score a Touchdown for nearly a month. Teams fukked.

Tbf, he aint the answer either. Even with a solid Panthers squad,i dont think he can get u past a wild card spot if that.
But i agree, Panthers have pressing issues far from Cam
The only one pushing the narrative that he's the answer are people looking to hate.
He was brought in because he was the best FA QB available.
And as much flack as he's getting he's already scored more than Darnold in less time.
The team needs an OL.
Needs NFL caliber coaching.
Needs to actually play its draft picks.
Scheme better against the run.
Get teams off the field on third.
Stop running predictable routes on offense.
Less unforced penalties to start drives.
CmC can't stay healthy and the offense was built around him.

Just admit y'all don't watch panthers games.
And if Cam Newton can get you to the playoffs next season he's worth retaining while you fix the other issues and get your QB of the future. Sorta like what he did in NE.
