im so sick of people trying to tell me about my garbage ass franchise this year lol

in this same podcast episode, cam says

"Newsflash, I'm never going to retire," Newton said, referencing the Panthers' alleged justification for why the team also doesn't have him featured around its facilities like other team legends."

he being different just to be different. send that email. its that easy.

and even back in june, this was him. on top of THIS video..... "Newton said television executives were concerned he wasn't done with football, but he said he wanted job offers with the caveat that he could return to the field if given the chance."

do you think people want to encourage this circus :dead: cam is out here still following behind steve smith and don't even realize it. podcast, espn/nfl promos, scouting, etc. the hold ups are him being extra about shyt that even gordon hayward could do.

damn that's crazy :dead:
Bro we got Coli dudes praying and hoping that LeBron should just retire because "they are sick of him" even though dude can still perform at a high level.

But supporting Cam because "he's wired different and thinks he can still play"
Even though WE ALL know it's over for him and he's need to formally acknowledge it so he can get his flowers.

Memphis Grizzlies/Auburn Tigers
Worst MVP since Rich Gannon.:yeshrug:.

Maybe Shaun Alexander.

As a player? Yeah you can probably make that argument. That season was incredible though, he absolutely deserved it that year

I think as time has gone on Cam's career has become underrated. All the off the field antics in recent years has made people forget what a unique talent he was. His raw stats never told the full truth about his impact on the football field, and contrary to what a lot of people think he actually kept getting better as a player after his MVP year. Like how Lamar's 2023 was statistically nowhere near 2019, but if you watched him play you could tell how much better he had become as a quarterback. I maintain there was a better version of Cam than his 2015 self, but unfortunately for him by the time he was really starting to put everything together the shoulder injuries robbed him of his arm strength, and that was that

I also think he's never really gotten his flowers for being the modern kickstarter to how offenses use black/mobile qbs these days, with Russ, Kaep and RG3 following him up the next year. Yes there were mobile guys prior but they were all either being pigeonholed into fitting more traditional offenses or just told to freestyle out there. Cam was really the first guy where coaches were like 'yeah let's design an offense around his talents' and the team saw success doing that

If cam won a SB he woulda been the goat black QB
Real shyt....he would've been the goat bruh QB. Unfortunately for him and Panthers fans....he went against one of the best of all time defenses in the big game. He still should've dove on that fumble tho...surprised he didnt.

New ownership is one of the worst owners in all sports.

Most of the owners are only about making money.
They build new stadiums on tax dollars and charge prices $300+ and up.
They sell the team in a decade or a couple of decades to profit on their investment 4x or more.
They don't care about winning, and I don't care about helping them pay for what they only view as an investment.

It's all about building relationships aka you ain't kissing or trying to kiss the right white asses. Cam know he if want all the extras, you gotta turn yourself into a coffee runner.

Either that or say fukk yall, yall can have this shyt. Keep making money outside of the Panthers shytty organization. He don't need their logo to talk to former players he came up with
