Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Most I know about Randall is that he had an incredible peak that just couldn’t last for his own reasons. Like OP said, Calvin def could’ve put up comparable numbers if it was his desire to just put up #s. He didn’t feel like playing extra years for that nonsense tho
Y’all really basing this off a couple highlights and 1-2 great seasons

He led the league in yards twice. Receptions once. Tds once.

He went over 100 catches once. Over 90 would be 2, including the 1 for 100. Add all his seasons and he caught more than 80 balls, 4 times.

At that rate he could have played more and still wouldn’t come close. He was tall and shyt and fast and had insane hops. Same with moss but moss added speed

The entire mental aspect of the game was missing and Jerry showed how that worked. He simply outworked everyone else, all the time. Wasn’t no plays off or weak routes or quitting. My man was out here in his mid 40s, competed in the super bowl, top 5 receiver, and still go on to play with the broncos and try with the hawks after that.

Again. Could’ve would’ve. Didn’t

you know big dude ain't supposed to run 4.3 40s especially at that weight, right? :comeon: megatron is lebron of football

but having said that megatron can't touch rice's route running ability, hands, and just being able to make plays in a critical time.

it's

1. rice
2. moss

megatron is fringe top 5

Op talking about putting CJ in the same breath as Rice, but a 2nd rounder outta utah who was undersized at his position had the same physical numbers . Most wideouts 6'2-6'5. Minus a handful 5'11 to 6" cats

:francis:

Brandon Jacobs in his prime was the lebron of football imo. Fukkin 6'5 running back lol

You're arguing athleticism over skill. Rice does everything skill wise better than Calvin and overtime athleticism fades bruh.

I don't understand how they're arguing against a guy who had route running down to a science.

He was so technically proficient at route running that even at 40 he was still able to beat far more athletic DB's

Exactly, these dudes stuck on that athleticism tip.

TYRONE GA!

:wow:

That first play wasn't a TD but is still my most vivid memory of Megatron. Being chased by four dudes as he strides down field. Amazing.

Great guy too. My favorite football player. Damn shame my wack ass team had to ruin his career and make him quit early.

Calvin was the best whilst he was around but all time? Nah.

Moss for me personally. Rice and TO are arguments to be had in regards to being better than Calvin too.

Mufukkaz gloss over this.. And he was 40.

Even :to: was Ballin late in his career

Him and Tim Brown was crushing defenses.

Nikkas act like Oakland aint have the number one offense that year. Was Megatron ever apart of something like that?
