they are good very good and can make a title run BUT the X factor would be Evan Mobley if he performs they are unbeatable when he play timid they lose
The Celtics starting 5 have played 8 games together all season, the Cavs aren’t unique in the context of dealing with injuriesCavs have beaten every contender except Brooklyn which is no more.
One of the highest margin of victory in the league while having one of the tougher schedules and a fair share of injuries.
Boston and Milwaukee are not these scary juggernauts in the playoffs just because they made one god damn Finals both in which they got lucky breaks. Both are beatable teams and have taken their L’s pre-Finals over the last 5 years. The bias is crazy.
There are no infallible teams. There are no teams like Curry's Warriors, LeBron's Heat/Cavs, the Celtics, Spurs or Lakers of a lil over a decade back where you can say oh you'd be hard-pressed to beat these teams in a 7 game series or where its going to take lucky breaks to beat them.Winning a regular season game against a contender is completely different from beating them heads up in a 7 game series. A lot of people aren’t going to give them the benefit of the doubt until they earn it

The Cavs don't need "benefit of the doubt" none of these "contenders" in the East have made multiple Finals let alone won multiple rings.
We have have home court advantage over Boston, Philly and Milwaukee tooNobody in the East is fukking with us. We beat the 2 teams ahead of us and will beat Philly. I’m confident. I’m not worried about any team under us.
Not trying to get into stats or players but we’re number 4 in defense and improving. 3rd in offense and improving. That’s pretty damn good ratings. We can compete with the Celtics and win the east (which I’m sure the Eastern conference is going to come down to). Not to mention the amount of win streaks we’ve been on is ridiculous.
I’m not saying it’s all skill at all though.
All these trades help as well. Competition is even thinner (in the east). Our team chemistry is insane because we didn’t have to make ANY trades this deadline. That is 100% a good sign of trust in your team. We’re usually aggressive during trade deadlines.
Meanwhile the West is just full of dog fights. It’s not even okay to call a clear winner right now in the west. You literally have to wait a few weeks or so to even tell. It’s so many contenders it’s wild but there can only be one and I will bet the Cavs will show up.
naw I ain’t trying to hear that because if we had lost the regular season games y’all would definitely be saying “you can’t even beat them during the regular season.” But now it doesn’t matter. Whatever.Bro regular season results don’t mean shyt in the playoffs.
It’s very rare for an NBA team to win a title without a superstar big or wing. Y’all have star guards but that alone won’t get you a title
Phoenix but overall I agreeNo, they haven’t won multiple rings or made multiple Finals but they’ve proven a hell of a lot more in the postseason than the Cavs have and whether you like it or not, that matters. The majority of the Cavs starters have never even played a single playoff game. Feel free to tell me the last time a team made a Finals run with that level of inexperience.
