I really appreciate all your help. I won't front, that Toshiba looks pretty tempting. However, that Samsung looks like a really great deal. I should probably cop that and an external usb optical drive.

Yes its a great deal. This laptop would last a few yrs easily. plus it made with aluminum not cheap plastic. Plus it has discrete graphics card with 1gb of video ram.

You can buy vouchers from eBay for like $5 that will give you like $50-200+ off laptops (you just search the laptop you are looking for and voucher/coupon)

@Smooth3d I'm on the samsung right now and I'm zooming. I'm hype that I could watch a Youtube video without it stuttering to high hell. I haven't done any video editing yet but I plan to very soon. I tried to locate the battery to remove it but it seems that it's internal otherwise I just missed it. What do you recommend I do to keep it in tip top shape? I heard a long time ago that you should let it deplete when it reaches full charge.

I'm happy that it has a SD card slot, a couple of USB ports and an ethernet port that works with my broken end with no problem. I can't believe that it has a VGA port still because I still use it. I plan on editing on this with a small amount of streaming while using old faithful to upload and download a majority of my content if I'm able to. I probably won't even put iTunes on this new jawn. The keyboard is back lit. Feels silky smooth. I don't know it this is an HDMI in/out or just out but I don't really have a use right now. Screen is dumb nice. Haven't done any touch screen action though. Thanks again.

Anyone have a lead on a good antivirus program. I'm on this 60 day program right now.
