An argument could be made for B5 being better but Stargate?
I really enjoyed SG-1.
Star Trek the Next Generation... They played that on tv after the Simpsons late night on fox and I slowly turned into a Star Trek fan without even knowing....

so ill prob start with next generation or deep space 9 i guess.
keep in mind i know absolutely nothing about the star trek universe/characters. hell the only ones i have even heard of are captain kirk and spock.

Netflix has everything and is the best way to get into star trek.
The original series you could watch random episodes if you want to laugh at how ridiculous it is.
The two best series are TNG and DS9, Voyager can be entertaining even though it sort of sucks. DS9 is a bit dense and might take some getting into.
TNG you should start watching from the end of season 2 and even then it doesn't really turn great until the middle of season 3. Seasons 1-2 are good for a laugh as well though and with TNG if an episode sounds like its going to suck from the description, by all means skip it, your not going to miss anything. I've skipped all the picard/troi/riker fall in love with x episodes
Also, TNG is a problem-of-the-week type of show with a few 2 parters sprinkled in but DS9 is all about story arcs.

Lets not forget the GOAT
Snoozefest & a half. Only the hoes make it somewhat worth watching.
