You're just not fully rewarded in CW due to the scores streak system, but people still do it trying to spawn trap & rack up xp to level weapons
Even i did it sometimes playing Nuketown Domination. For example, just get home spawn & Camp B. Depending on your spawn, you only have to focus on the second floor/alleyway/garage or someone trying to sneak up on you. The back of the truck is easy kills since their momentum is stopped just to get inside and face towards you. Throw a trophy down & hope your team doesn't get greedy. People usually spawn by the fence behind the house. You can lay down & take a breather to stim or set up a sentry by the side fence areas near B (bushes or that little area near the alley). Throw down a new trophy, wash rinse & repeat.
