If you gotta rely on a meta, then you trash.
I can easily get kills with a majority of the guns in game, infact Pistols are probably my bread and butter and I can out shoot most people with the L1-R1 PS2 button setup.
Meta is just what kids use to cap about their skill level. Im 28 years old, I don't need that shyt to kill people

Eh. Hardcore doesn’t really apply. Every gun is like 1 shot so anything is damn near the same

The "meta" is a thing cause the game coddles and caters to the casual player
I have to wait a minute or more to queue up a game cause of skillbased matchmaking.
Then I have to use all meta weapons cause all my lobbies are filled with nikkas that try hard as fukk
if skill based matchmaking wasnt a thing I'd hop into a lobby in 10 seconds use any gun I'd like and have an ok time.....
but nah COD developers love to play to base retention and average players(which is a sub 1 kd) doesnt want to be on lobbies where they're getting slaughtered by people just better than them.....so they dumb it down so vegetables with a controller can shoot a full clip at each other and still not kill anything
That man would be in distress if he had to play the lobbies I have to be in the majority of the time
And I'm not even all that great.
You're not running around with pistols getting 2kd's in my lobbies.
