At least MW was an attempt at evolution. This is just for people who want to live on nostalgia, and play the same game they played 10 years ago with better textures and lighting.

It's an Alpha so, there could be major swings before we get the final game...

With that being said, those who don't like the "cartoony" look will probably be disappointed as it looks like that's the aesthetic they were going for with the pastel colors of the 80s - think GTA: Vice City.

It looks like most of everyone agrees on the major points so I expect to see opinions sway when the 10/8 Beta drops:

- maps are too big and need to be scaled down.
- guns need balancing ( add sway and increase ADS of sniper rifles, balance pros/cons in gunsmith attachments, fix range issues - SMGs appear to have same effective range as ARs, etc.)
- slight decrease in TTK
- a SBMM balance ( you could throw a game or 2 and then go on a pub stomp spree if you're good enough - or have a couple really good games and end up in super sweaty lobbies. )
- a lot of complaining about tactical sprint but honestly if map sizes are scaled down, there will be little need for it as this iteration of COD has re-introduced running and gunning.

Personally, I'm more excited for the campaign than I am anything. Growing up in the 80s it feels nostalgic. I suspect there will be a lot less people on the fence about the game after the Beta.

Not even gonna lie, this is EXACTLY what I want from Call of Duty. None of these bullshyt "innovations" over the last 6-7 years like boost jumping, specialists, fake ass Battlefield modes, doors, broken minimap that lets people sit in a house the whole game with no consequences, big ass maps where you can't even cross the street without getting shot from 10 windows, etc. Only new thing I wanna see stick around is Gunsmith and the new sensitivity/aiming settings.

Breh, it's one of the most irrationally hated things I have ever seen. I dunno if you ever watched the breh on YT 402Thunder402 but he's spent damn near a year complaining about doors in CoD. He's legit on a lot of shyt but this just leaves me weak every time.

Breh is legit on the sticks and makes valid points about a lot of subjects but I can't deny he loves to complain. Especially the last 2 years but he's been on another level with MW.
