Point me to one
I bought this same model but the 2 TB one. This one in the link is 1.5 TB. Its an external drive which in my case at the time ended up being the cheapest option. Pry open the enclosure and swap the PS4 hard drive with it. Remember you can price match at Best Buy.
My experience about a year was tedious. Doing the physical swap takes all of 5 minutes, but in my house, we are all gamers, and I have a total of 4 different profiles on my hard drive. I had to manually sign in to each profile one at a time, and manually copy every save to a USB. Then put in the new hard drive and upload each save one by one onto each profile. PS+ cloud save should be much faster and smoother, but when I did it, I wasn't having any luck getting the cloud save to synch properly. I have a ton of games so I would consider my experience to be pretty uncommon. Just something to keep in mind though, if you have a lot of game saves, you can easily spend an hour or more before having the PS4 back up and running.
