My bad on that... Didn't see your earlier statement....However, I did find RZA's character funny, in a nigtastic type way, it just wasn't a good fit for the season.....

And I see how you avoided the race/demographics issue as far as TV programming is concerned...

What is the race/demographic issue as far as TV programing is concerned? I ignored it because I didn't see how it was relevant to my point...

Fair enough...I put that out there because there is a lot of research that goes into TV programming and understanding your target audience is key...For example, you are not gonna see a prime time show that caters to a black audience simply because our viewership percentage is small....

I say all that to say that Meagan and RZA's role on the last season of Californication was an attempt to diversify the audience....

It looks like they were trying to pull in new viewers.

I would say that this is more like Entourage than Weeds....Weeds, for better or worse (WORSE), at least changed. It changed into something that most disliked, but at least they tried. Entourage just became so damn predictable, people became caricature of themselves, show just didn't have any left to say after the first couple of seasons. Californication has sadly gone down the same route.

entourage was good for atleast 5 seasons. I liked season 6 but w/e.
