If you can ban people from smoking crack anywhere as per the Consitutional law, it seems like a fair jump to say you can ban people from smoking ciagrettes indoors. The government could also just ban cigarettes entirely.
So I guess you should have the right to sue car companies since the.fact that everytime you are in the drivers seat you increase your risk of getting some type of sickness since the small particulate matter from engine oils can easily get into your deep lungs which means you may get lung cancer. An argement could be said that this may be the reason lung cancer is rising even though a lot who get it aren't smokers or around it.. we know that wont happen because fake liberals pick and choose what they want to fight against. Since liberals hate tobacco companies, they will try to shyt on tobacco or anything related to it, but give all props to weed, even though most of them smoke it, and smoking herb a lot isnt good for you. fukking hyprocites.

Don't get me wrong I love herb but I also believe in being honest with.the.science and we know pure, air cured.tobacco is not.bad for you when used in moderation. The same with herb. In fact they are good for your brain so banning quality tobacco is.making your life harder in the future if yku want to have other options besides pharmaceuticals to keep your brain protected against dementia, alzheimers, and be easier to lose that middle aged weight. All these things tobacco helps with, specifically nicotine. The companies will help ban tobacco and sell you nicotine for your health but under another name and make millions off of your ignorance and ego. They did this with weed by selling marinol and another pill of pure thc and charged around $50 a pill. The plant is way cheaper and more beneficial but theres one thing, its ILLEGAL. Wake up.

I dont think the point of this law is to ban tobacco. More so to ban the second hand smoke aspect of cigarrettes. Though I didnt read the link lol.

If it is as I said, then I dont see how anyone could have a problem with this. If I live in an apartment and choose not to smoke, I would not want to be forced to inhale someone elses cigarrette smoke.

The poster I replied to said he thinks they should ban cigarettes, not the article.

Again, that is wrong to tell people they can't smoke in a place they pay for without giving them an option such as using an air filter. If not get fined. This is very reasonable. I guess now the country is one big narcissistic land since everyone who doesn't like something wants to force everyone to feel how they feel. No proper compromises.

This is how rights get taken from the people. First its this, then they will make it illegal to smoke on the streets, which means illegal to smoke in general. Then it will go into other territories. That is why I don't agree with this. I barely smoke, I vaporize, but I know a con game when I see it.

most apartments have no smoking rules
Yeah, but its foul for the town to make a rule instead of the building owners. Also, all these condo owners paying all the money they pay should have a smoke room built in the place so they could have an option. Its only right since they are giving you good business. Thats what I will do. Remember everyone doesnt smoke tobacco, especially in northern cali, they smoke herb. A smoke room is a plus to sell a condo. Matter of fact, in door air cleaners should be in all condos to keep the place smelling clean. That will be a real good sell.
