there is a ton of heat on Poles obviously but it should be mentioned more that he also apparently completely missed on Jayden while holding the #1 pick
you really think any rookie QB would look good in this situation???? 3 different OCs, 2 head coaches and :trash: oline with 2 undrafted players and a 6th round pick in their draft class starting vs the Seahawks :mjlol:

I think Jayden is an absolute superstar talent. Im not letting it affect my thoughts on Caleb longterm, but Jayden is looking like a transcendent talent and it should be noted Poles completely whiffed on him

I said in this thread over and over again Caleb needs to work on his footwork and accuracy and I will continue to say but no rookie QB would be great in this situation Jayden is great and will most likely be better than Caleb but to sit here and say Jayden would look the same with the bears would be a false statement

IM WATCHING THIS GAME
AND JAYDEN IS CLEARLY THE BETTER PLAYER
IN YEAR ONE...

TALLER AND MORE ATHLETIC TOO.

I remember before the draft, Dan Orlovsky was saying he’d take Jayden because he has better ball placement (hitting receivers where only they can get it). He also has 5 years of college experience (compared to Caleb’s 3). He did say Caleb has undeniable talent, but that he’s gonna need to learn how to play on schedule and not rely on improvisation.

AS THE NUMBER 1 PICK
WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DEAL
WITH ACCURACY AND FOOT WORK ISSUES
AS IF HE WAS DRAFTED IN A LATER RD.

LOOK AT PENNIX IN HIS SECOND CAREER GM.

Penix is having a solid game but nothing earth shattering he air mailed like 10 passes so far.

He also has an actual run game to play with and was able to sit behind a tenured vet and learn. What JD has and is doing is more impressive.

18/32 less than 200 yards and 1/1?

This hasnt been a crazy performance. Are you insinuating we should have taken the dude who has blown his ACL up several times instead when we know how bad this oline is?

NO I DONT WANT PENNIX.

THE POINT IS IF THE 4TH SELECTED QB
PLAYING HIS SECOND CAREER GM
WITH THE PLAYOFFS ON THE LINE
CAN LOOK DECENT THERES NO EXCUSE
FOR THE NUMBER 1 PICK.
