Dude just explained the reason for goin for 2 and it's still dumb as hell.
He said if you get the 2pt, then you score again and you kicking an extra point for the win. And if you fail the 2pt conversion, you still have the option to go for 2pts if you score again to tie.
It's dumb. Just take the 7 points and decide if you want to tie or not if you score again. 2pt conversions are easy to get.
