Interesting, how many ADOS people can truly prove their ancestors were slaves in America though? So many people who aren't even in contact with their parents and don't have these records are gonna get left out, but hey as long as black immigrants don't get it it's all good

Its never been about black immigrants not getting reperations tho, u know that. everytime we get something specifically for black folks ADoS, outsiders water it down!!! picture a Non jew, getting Jewish reperations does THAT make any sense to you??? stop playing.

Not really. And no - but death records and land records are available. As well as the freedman bureau. Sharecroppers contracts, jail records - due to pig laws and convict leasing.

And honestly -- the records are there -- I don't know why people keep saying the records were poor. No they were not. I have so many ancestors on both sides on the 1870 census. But, again, we have other options to help them. It aint that hard.

I am so over people saying this.

I don't follow Tariq -- but maybe he was being mean/rude. I think a lot of people are uncomfortable with non-AA's on these panels - but in Mr. Lewis case -- he was the one who held his ground -- and was the STRONGEST male ally on the panel.

The other two AA old men - were on some bullish. Also, Rev. Amos Brown was not playing about keeping it lineage.
