I remember when the league started. For example, you have a team like the Sparks that basically wear lakers colors. They would have been better off as the Lady Lakers, using the already built in laker fanbase.

I understand a lot of these teams have different owners though.

In soccer they have the same name like Arsenal Women or Barcelona Femini. They will not get the same numbers but it still allows them to leverage off the established brand of the men's team. In a way CBB women still carry the college brand name and it helps marketing instead of some of these players going to Russia because it pays more

It's a treh, there is absolutely no way a broad that skinny with no muscle definition can cross, stop and pop then launch from that type of distance at will. Where's her base and core built from to pull that off?
