How is that clear I their rookie season. It looked clearly in their rookie season that Jaylen Brown, Simmons, and Hield we’re going to be better than Ingram but 5 years later we see who the best player(Ingram) turned out to be.

@CantStop isnt it true Ppl were ready to call Ingram a disappointment his first two years?

you ain't never lied brodie.

they called Ingram a colossal bust and now act like they ain't said nothing. jalen green is way ahead of the curve compared to where BI was

Jalen averaging 19, 4 and 4 on 47% shooting and 36 from 3. and that’s while being the 3rd or 4th option. when he leads the rockets In Touches he’s average 24 ppg since the all star game.

Cade is nice but I maintain that he gets to be the guy In Detroit(like he should as a lottery pick), whereas Jalen is playing behind multiple guys:

@dtownreppin214 if you watched the game last night i know you noticed there was multiple possesions in the first half where Jalen was not where near the ball. It’s like they were swinging the balls way from his area.
:manny:Honestly I don't care at this point about who most people think will be better or who gets ROY. I'm just happy Detroit made the right pick for the team, city and situation. Doubters in the city and the national media about the pick initially because Green is more highlightish have pretty much all stfu. So I'm glad the boy showed and prove and I actually like Jalen's game and watching him develop. I've mend that to you before. Y'all got a nice prospect in that one.

Nobody called it the wrong pick or doubted that selection. Cade was the consensus number one pick. The debate was who should be second between Mobley green and Suggs

You know it’s bad when you gotta lie
He’s averaging 15/3/2. Since All Star Break he’s putting up 18.2/3/3. Big improvement. Cade is averaging 21.4, 7 boards, 6.5 assists. Jalen is creeping in behind Mobley Cade and Barnes and that’s fine but let’s stop this Jalen is better stuff cause he clearly isn’t. Dude will be nice tho

No, in the city and in media there were definitely questions, hell there were plenty of people questioning the pick on this board. Especially after Cade's rough start to the season, the questions only got louder.

This is facts, one of the reasons why I start following cade so heavy is cause he was being doubted like crazy. The only media head I heard saying cade will be the best player leading up to the draft was Kendrick Perkins. Everyone was marveling at Jalen's athleticism and what he did in the G league.

I like them both, I still think Jalen has the higher ceiling

Cade is better now tho...but those bigger Guards who don't rely on athleticism are simply steady in their careers...they don't make big jumps in improvement

I think Cade should be 21-6-6 in his sleep

I think Jalen can be 28-6-4 if he figures it out...gets stronger, learns when to attack, when to facilitate, equally comfortable playing on & off the ball

Jalen is playing off talent, he doesn't know what he's doing yet...but that's to be expected

Jordan was insane when you look back on it, even in hindsight :mjtf:.

Jordan accomplishing both of their best months as a rookie is some :mjlit: type of fact.

But it really shoes how much dude was practically a glitch in the game.
also, Jordan was 2-3 years older than Cade and Green in his rookie year
