How so? At least I see him trying to stress the need for building wealth and circulating money among the black community, all the hoteps I see think they'll destroy white supremacy by using the power of the triple darkness shea butter.

but i bet he has more independent streams of revenue/business than you, while you make reductive generalizations and pretend to be a female on a message board... :sas2:

so who's really deserving of scrutiny? :sas2:

tariq is a hustler, yes, but just looking strictly at his works, he's done good for black people. donating money to black-run schools, the hidden colors series, etc.

nikkas need to move past the rhetoric and personality and look at the works and tangible gains made.
Lol I'm not pretending to be a female....I mean if that's what you guys on here are used to lol. What kind of weirdo does that?

Black empowerment? His definition of black empowerment isn't even really black empowerment when you consider that he excludes certain groups of black people. I.E Black feminists. That's just ONE example. That's not empowering. The way he and his followers tear down black women, that's lame.

What kind of work you putting in Black Feminists?

You right he wants to exclude the c00ns as well and I'm all down with that.

I do believe in Black empowerment, COLLECTIVELY. I don't believe in excluding certain groups of black people. There is no gay agenda, and black woman feminists such as myself aren't trying to turn men into slaves or whatever bizarre idea people have about us and our intentions. Forgive us for wanting to be treated and held to the same standards as black men. Why does that bother y'all so much? Why do you feel so threatened?

Black feminists are standing behind men, and in a lot of cases leading the cause. Have you looked at a lot of the people on the front lines of the BLM movement? A lot of black women/black feminists marching. Getting rid of c00ns is one thing, excluding people because they're gay or want equal rights for women is a joke. That's not empowerment. That's fraudulent AF. You can't say you're FOR black people if you're only for CERTAIN black people.

What advantages do Black men have that Black Women don't?

Please don't say we can play basketball with our shirts off or we get to do the money shot in porn.

Most of what they know about black feminism is coming from someone who not only doesn't understand it themselves but is a bit of misogynist, so you're facing an ironic uphill battle.

It's fun tho.

Why would you think that? I never once saw anyone on the front lines of the BLM movement segue from an unarmed black man being killed to speak on LGBT issues. Where do you get this stuff from? lol
