in my neck of the woods, the town of Coweta (a podunk hillbilly shythole outside of Tulsa) was so desperate to bring some dollars into their community that the muscogee nation bought some land out there and now the whites are all up in arms about the "kind of people" who will be "coming to town". hundreds of jobs, a milli or two a year (likely much more) profit to the town from ONE BUILDING.. not to mention giving their busted ass "diners" and other small businesses some actual... business. they could damn near become a little city off of this but will throw it all away to keep black and brown people out
